It would be silly not to first highlight our neighbours, the people and businesses of the Noordhoek Farm Village. The Village vision was brilliant; it was built in 1995 and has blossomed ever since. In the last 6 years it has seen some great change and the best of Cape Town certainly decided to make Noordhoek home. Brands and businesses have grown around us, as have family and friends. Cafe Roux has become the place of choice for Cape Town gatherings and Sundays listening to local live music, sipping on a glass of your favourite, is just perfect. The Toad in the Village is almost written into Cape Town folk lore and dining or socialising there any time is a complete experience, and wait for a good sport day on the big screen, in the words of The Toad himself “we think you’ll like it!”. Then there is Franck Dangeroux’s Foodbarn that continues to get accolade after accolade for the amazing fine dining experience he and his team deliver day in day out, and of course their Tapas Bar at The Deli delivers the same experience. Restaurants aside there are some great boutique shops and Ronnie’s Tack Shop, Tom’s African Experience and Caroline’s Beauty Spa are perfect examples.

Then further a field you must also explore – Kalk Bay is magnificent and a drive through Simons Town to Cape Point and back through Kommetjie along the “Slangkop Pass” is well worth the time spent. And when you ready head for Chapman’s Peak and the rest of Cape Town awaits you, but don’t rush it, it is so much better here!
